Why has my credit card deposit been declined?

There are many factors that can cause a credit card to decline. In order to reduce the risk of your card declining please ensure the following:
• That you have entered the correct card information
• That there are sufficient funds in the account to cover the deposit.
• That your bank has not put a block on the card.
• That your bank allows international transactions.
• That your payments card, prepaid card or gift card allows online gambling transactions

If you are still unable to deposit, please visit the deposit page to see alternative options. For further support please contact our customer support

Please note that PowerPlay is unable to accept some credit cards from the US and Canada due to restrictions put on cards used for gaming transactions by banks.

If you are still experiencing problems the following may help:

  1.  Call your bank and let them know that you authorize the transaction. That should unblock your card and allow you to complete your deposit with PowerPlay.
  2.  Use INTERAC (ETI or Online) which is the most popular payment method on our website and allows you to deposit directly from your bank account, rather than via a card.
  3.  Use a Grey Vanilla Card that is readily available throughout Canada. Please note, however, that these pre-paid cards only work as a deposit method and don’t allow withdrawals. We do though have other ways to process your withdrawal, including Interac e-Transfer which goes directly to your bank account.

If you are still having problems depositing then please contact us via Live chat or email at support@powerplay.com so we can help.
